Easter Time in Nursery

Easter is always a busy time of year in the Nursery and this year has been no exception. We have had lots fun working on lots of things.

Easter Nests

We made Easter nests, learning how chocolate changes as it melts, adding cornflakes to see what happens. Using counting skills to count out eggs to decorate the nests

Easter Bonnets/Hats

The nursery children have been making Easter bonnets and hats at home with their parents to celebrate Easter.

Hatching Chicks

Creating Easter crafts in the sunshine.

Hot Cross Buns

The children took on different roles such as being a Baker, Shop Keeper and customer to act out the rhyme ‘Hot Cross Buns’. We also explored creating hot cross buns with spicy playdough.
